Book Review: Reasons For Hatred

Reasons For Hatred

Friends are reunited in Reasons For Hatred by J. E. Thomas. Sylvia and Hadassah are best friends who do everything together. When Hadassah’s family moves away, separating the girls they are devastated. Sylvia and Hadassah try to stay in touch but as time goes on their contact with each dwindles.
Sylvia meets Brooklyn who happens to be friends with Hadassah and after thirty-two years, Sylvia and Hadassah are reunited through a phone call. The two decide to take a cruise to make up for lost time. Hadassah shares the horrific details of her life. The friends continue to catch up on old times, new events in their lives and how they were not going to let past issues take over their lives. Both ladies did not know what to expect but after spending time together realized their friendship was still present.
Reasons For Hatred tells true accounts of a Hadassah’s terrifying childhood that led her to forgive her abuser and move on with her life. A person’s pain can be turned into a positive to help others going through the same situation. This was a touching story and I applaud the author for sharing such intimate and emotional details.  I recommend Reasons For Hatred to others.
