About The Author

Apostle Oliver T. Reid, called into the ministry in his youth, is a powerfully anointed and dynamic man of God.  Known to be a remnant preacher and a testament to these times, Apostle Reid flows with a global prophetic mandate with God’s signs and wonders following.  A man of many gifts and talents, he walks in the office of Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist and Teacher, and most affectionately knows him as “Apostle.”  As a trailblazer, stalwart, and international apostle Reid has a passion to see the body restored, sinner’s saved, and broken hearts mended.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Apostle Reid is happily married to Miatta Reid and a proud father. He is a graduate of Winston Salem State University with a BA/BS degree in History and Sociology. Apostle Reid obtained a Bachelors as well as a Master’s Degree in Theology from Life Christian University. He is presently in pursuit of his Doctor of Ministry in Theology degree from Life Christian University.

Q & A with Apostle Oliver Reid

A&RBC: How did you become a writer?
Apostle: When I was in elementary school my third grade teacher read one of my stories in class and entered me into nationwide writing contest. I won 1st place and represented my state. From that day forward I knew it was my destiny to be a writer.
A&RBC: Where does your inspiration for your characters come from?
Apostle:  My inspiration stems from my life experience as a whole.
A&RBC: What are you hoping readers take from your book? 
Apostle:  I pray that every reader will fully understand that they are a solution because God the greatest solution has creative to solve a problem.
A&RBC: If you were to write a book about a controversial topic, what would it be?  
Apostle: Why hurting leaders can’t tell anyone?
A&RBC: What is your favorite genre of books? 
Apostle: Christian Non- Fiction
A&RBC: Are you an avid or occasional reader?
Apostle:  I am an occasional reader but a great researcher.
A&RBC:  If you could interview one of your favorite authors, who would it be? Why?
Apostle: If I could interview one of my favorite authors it would be Bishop TD Jakes because his words pierce the hearts of the masses regardless of race and gender.
A&RBC:  If you could make a movie out of one of your books, which one would it be? 
Apostle:  Words From The Low Place
A&RBC: What new projects are you working on?
Apostle: I am currently working on a ministry workbook curriculum entitled Your Is Not Impossible “Developing your Assignment for ministry” and the remaining sequels to Spiritual GPS.  Also I am currently spearheading an I AM A SOLUTION CAMPAIGN Empowerment Campaign.
